Medicare is a form of medical health insurance developed by the government for seniors, in addition to people with specific disabilities and diseases. If someone who has Medicare needs treatment for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will be either covered entirely by their Medicare insurance or to a significant degree. The only real catch is, the person will need to receive treatment from a drugs and alcohol detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to commence treatment, they can also get to visit their physician who must state that treatment services are medically necessary, and the doctor will usually approve what type of treatment the person will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of rehabilitation solutions. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility in the event that the individual must be in a hospital for his or her problem, as well as the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are the same as any other hospital stay. Part B will partially cover outpatient rehab within a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance coverage or they will have to self pay.
