Medicaid is a medical health insurance available for many people who are in certain income brackets which qualifies them to acquire this government funded insurance coverage. Whether or not a person qualifies for Medicaid doesn't only determined by income however, and people shouldn't presume they don't qualify because they earn a reasonable income. If a person is involved in substance abuse and desires help, they could use their Medicaid health coverage to acquire this help. If they do not have Medicaid plus don't have the money or some other form of health insurance to pay for treatment, they could find out if they are eligible for a Medicaid and then enroll in an alcohol and drug treatment center that is approved in their state.
