Medicare is a kind of medical insurance developed by the U.S. government for senior citizens, as well as people who have specific disabilities and diseases. If an individual who has Medicare needs treatment for instances of substance abuse, their rehab will either be covered entirely by their Medicare insurance or to a great degree. The one exception is, the individual will need to receive treatment from an alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be allowed to commence treatment, they will also have to visit their doctor who must declare that treatment services are medically necessary, and the physician will typically approve what sort of rehabilitation the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of rehab services. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center when the individual needs to be in a hospital for his or her issue, and the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are the same as any other hospital stay. Part B will partly cover outpatient rehabilitation in the Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will need to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance coverage or they'll have to self pay.
