Medicare is a sort of medical health insurance designed by the government for older persons, along with those that have certain disabilities and illnesses. When someone who has Medicare needs treatment for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will be either covered in full by their Medicare insurance or to a great extent. The only exception is, the person must acquire treatment from the alcohol and drugs detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to begin rehabilitation, they will also have to see their medical doctor who must declare that rehab services are medically necessary, and the doctor will usually approve what sort of rehab the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of rehab solutions. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program if the individual should be in a hospital for their issue, and the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are identical to every other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment in a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance or they'll have to self pay.
