Medicaid is a medical insurance available for those who are in certain income brackets which qualifies them to receive this government funded insurance. Whether or not someone qualifies for Medicaid doesn't only depend on their earnings however, and people shouldn't presume they don't qualify simply because they earn a good income. For example, men and women who have many dependents may qualify for Medicaid even when they make an amount be considered a fair income. There are many alcohol and drug rehabilitation facilities which accept Medicaid, but different states have distinct guidelines for what types of rehab are covered. Some states only cover outpatient rehab services for example while other states cover far more extensive rehab say for example a residential stay in long-term alcohol and drug rehab center. If a person is involved in drug abuse and needs help, they are able to use their Medicaid insurance coverage to get this help. If they do not have Medicaid and also don't have the money or another kind of health care insurance to cover rehabilitation, they could check if they are eligible for a Medicaid and then enroll in a drug and alcohol rehab program that's approved within their state.
