Medicare is a form of medical insurance designed by the government for senior citizens, and also those that have certain disabilities and diseases. When someone that has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will be either covered completely by their Medicare insurance or to a great extent. The only catch is, the individual will need to acquire treatment coming from a drugs and alcohol detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to start rehab, they may also have to see their medical doctor who must state that treatment services are medically essential, and the doctor will typically approve what sort of rehabilitation the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of rehabilitation providers. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program when the individual needs to be in a hospital for problem, and also the costs that they will have to pay for personally are identical to every other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient rehabilitation within a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance coverage or they're going to have to self pay.
