Medicaid is a form of health insurance available for many people who are in specific income brackets which qualifies them to receive this government provided insurance. Whether or not an individual is qualified for Medicaid doesn't only depend on income however, and individuals shouldn't assume they don't qualify because they make an acceptable income.
