Medicare is a type of health care insurance created by the government for seniors, in addition to people who have specific disabilities and sicknesses. If a person that has Medicare needs treatment for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehab will be either covered entirely by their Medicare insurance or to a significant degree. The only catch is, the individual will have to obtain treatment from the drugs and alcohol detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to start rehab, they may also have to see their physician who must declare that treatment services are medically essential, and the physician will generally approve which kind of treatment the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of treatment services. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility when the individual must be hospitalized for their issue, along with the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are identical to any other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment within a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance coverage or they'll have to self pay.
