If an inpatient center will be the favored rehabilitation choice, TRICARE covers a three week period or one inpatient stay in that center per benefit period which is every 365 days. There are certain limits about how much time a TRICARE member can stay within an inpatient facility that accepts TRICARE, and there's typically a 30 to 45 day window which is covered. TRICARE also covers family therapy which is often very useful, as it can help include loved ones in the healing and process of recovery.
