Medicaid is a health care insurance available for individuals who are in specific income brackets which qualifies them to obtain this government funded insurance coverage. Whether an individual is qualified for Medicaid doesn't only determined by income however, and individuals shouldn't assume they don't qualify because they make a fair income. If they don't have Medicaid plus don't have the money or any other form of medical insurance to cover rehabilitation, they could determine if they qualify for Medicaid and then sign up for an alcohol and drug treatment program that's approved within their state.
