Medicare is a form of medical insurance designed by the federal government for older persons, and also those that have certain disabilities and illnesses. If a person that has Medicare needs rehab for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will either be covered completely by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant degree. The only real exception is, the individual will need to receive treatment coming from an alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be allowed to commence rehabilitation, they can also get to visit their physician who must declare that treatment services are medically needed, and the physician will usually approve what type of rehabilitation the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover various kinds of rehabilitation solutions. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program if the individual should be hospitalized for problem, and the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are the same as any other hospital stay. Part B will partially cover outpatient treatment within a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will need to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance coverage or they'll have to self pay.
