Medicaid is a medical health insurance available for individuals who are in certain income brackets which qualifies them to receive this government provided insurance coverage. Whether a person qualifies for Medicaid doesn't only determined by their earnings however, and people shouldn't presume they don't qualify just because they make a good income. By way of example, people who have many dependents may be eligible for Medicaid even though they earn what can be described as a reasonable income. Medicaid can also cover the price of rehabilitation, when someone has been abusing alcohol or drugs and needs rehabilitation. There are several drug rehabilitation programs which accept Medicaid, but different states have distinct guidelines for what types of rehabilitation are covered. Certain states only include outpatient treatment services as an example while other states cover far more intensive rehabilitation say for example a residential stay in long-term drug rehabilitation facility. If a person is involved with drug abuse and wants help, they can use their Medicaid health coverage to acquire this help. If they do not have Medicaid plus don't have the money or some other type of medical health insurance to cover rehab, they can determine if they qualify for Medicaid and then enroll in a drug treatment program that's approved in their state.
