A group home for anyone who has tbeen involved with drug and alcohol abuse is a facility which offers continual support and help for folks in recovery. A group home is typically for troubled adolescents, but in addition there are group homes for individuals with a mental health problem or who are encountering behavioral difficulties for example. As opposed to sending those who are being affected by drug abusedrug use or recovering from substance abuse to an orphanage, asylum or another similar place, a group home will help provide an appropriate environment to help individuals sustain stability in their lives and still have counsel and assistance at their fingertips around the clock. Residents in the group home could be taking part in treatment services during residence, or might be taking actions to get their life setup outside the group home to enable them to at one point live on their own not in the group home.
