Being diagnosed with HIV/AIDS may trigger drug abuse, or risky sexual conduct because of drug use might have caused the person to contract the illness. Individuals who have HIV/AIDS, either because of their drug abuse or as a pre-existing problem before their substance abuse issue, often require rehab services tailor-made to meet their specific demands and challenges.
