Medicare is a sort of health care insurance developed by the federal government for older folks, along with people with certain disabilities and diseases. When someone that has Medicare needs rehab for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehab will either be covered entirely by their Medicare insurance or to a significant degree. The one catch is, the person will need to receive treatment from the alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be allowed to start rehab, they may also have to see their medical doctor who must declare that rehab services are medically necessary, and the doctor will generally approve what type of rehabilitation the person will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of rehab providers. Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility if the individual should be hospitalized for issue, and the costs that they will have to pay for personally are identical to any other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient rehabilitation in the Medicare accepted center, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance or they will have to self pay.
