Medicaid is a medical health insurance available for those who are in specific income brackets which qualifies them to receive this government provided insurance coverage. Whether or not a person qualifies for Medicaid doesn't only depend upon their earnings however, and people shouldn't assume they don't qualify because they make a good income. Some states only include outpatient treatment services for instance while other states cover more intensive treatment like a residential stay in long-term drug and alcohol rehab program. If anyone is involved with drug abuse and desires help, they are able to use their Medicaid insurance coverage to obtain this treatment. If they do not have Medicaid and also don't have enough cash or any other type of medical health insurance to pay for rehabilitation, they could check if they qualify for Medicaid and then enroll in a drug rehab center that is approved within their state.
