Medicaid is a form of medical insurance available for many people who are in certain income brackets which qualifies them to receive this government funded insurance coverage. If a person is involved in drug use and desires help, they can use their Medicaid health coverage to get this help. If they don't have Medicaid and in addition don't have enough cash or any other type of health insurance to cover rehab, they could determine if they qualify for Medicaid and then enroll in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation program that's approved inside their state.
