Dual diagnosis rehabs are programs which deliver treatment to address both addiction and mental health issues concurrently. Treatment counselors will work to recognize environmental issues in the client's life including negative relationships or any other things that need to be addressed in order for the person to remain mentally stable and sober t whenever they depart dual diagnosis rehab. Dual diagnosis clients also benefit from behavioral rehabilitation that helps them develop far better coping methods so they are better able to handle life circumstances more effectively after they depart dual diagnosis rehab rather than returning to alcohol and drugs as an inferior solution.
