Medicaid is a type of health insurance available for many people who are in specific income brackets which qualifies them to receive this government provided insurance coverage. Whether somebody qualifies for Medicaid doesn't only depend on their earnings however, and individuals shouldn't assume they don't qualify just because they make a good income.
