Dual diagnosis rehabs are centers which deliver rehabilitation to deal with both addiction and mental health issues at the same time. Dual diagnosis clients also reap the benefits of behavioral rehab that helps them develop more effective coping mechanisms so that they are better able to deal with life circumstances more effectively when they depart dual diagnosis rehab as opposed to turning to alcohol and drugs as a possible option.
