However, drug rehab counselors who provide rehabilitation to hearing impaired individuals understand the challenges that these clients face. ASL rehab services are of course a necessity, as are rehabilitation services which address the particular challenges that hearing impaired individuals encounter. Group therapy gives a forum for important peer interactions to ensure rehabilitation clients can know that they are not alone, and that there is hope to resolve their problem with alcohol and drugs. Individual therapy services may be more tailor-made for everybody so that their own problems can be addressed in rehabilitation.
