A group home for a person who has tbeen involved with alcohol and drug abuse is a place which offers continuous support and help for people in recovery. A group home is typically for troubled youth, but there's also group homes for people with a mental health problem or who are experiencing behavioral problems for example. As opposed to sending those who are being affected by drug abusedrug use or recovering from substance abuse to an orphanage, asylum or another similar facility, a group home might help provide an acceptable environment to help individuals maintain stability within their lives and still have counsel and assistance at their fingertips 24/7. Residents in the group home might be involved in rehabilitation services whilst in residence, or might be taking steps to get their life set up outside the group home in order to at one point live independently not in the group home.
