Medicaid is a form of health insurance available for individuals who are in specific income brackets which qualifies them to receive this government funded insurance. Whether or not a person qualifies for Medicaid doesn't only determined by their earnings however, and people shouldn't presume they don't qualify simply because they make a fair income. If someone is involved in substance abuse and needs help, they're able to use their Medicaid insurance coverage to obtain this treatment. If they don't have Medicaid plus don't have the cash or another kind of health care insurance to pay for treatment, they could check if they qualify for Medicaid and then enroll in a drug treatment program that is approved within their state.
