Medicare is a form of medical health insurance designed by the U.S. government for seniors, in addition to people who have specific disabilities and sicknesses. When someone that has Medicare needs rehab for cases of substance abuse, their rehabilitation will either be covered completely by their Medicare health insurance or to a great degree. The only real exception is, the individual must receive treatment from the drugs and alcohol detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to begin treatment, they may also have to visit their doctor who must state that treatment services are medically needed, and the physician will generally approve which kind of rehab the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of rehab solutions. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program when the individual must be in a hospital for his or her problem, and the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are identical to every other hospital stay. Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment in a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance or they're going to have to self pay.
