Medicare is a form of medical health insurance created by the government for seniors, in addition to people who have certain disabilities and illnesses. If someone that has Medicare needs treatment for instances of substance abuse, their rehab will be either covered entirely by their Medicare insurance or to a great degree. The only catch is, the person will have to obtain treatment from your alcohol and drugs detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to commence rehabilitation, they may also have to see their medical doctor who must declare that treatment services are medically needed, and the physician will generally approve which kind of rehab the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover various kinds of rehabilitation services. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility when the individual has to be hospitalized because of their issue, and the costs that they will have to pay for personally are the same as every other hospital stay. Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment in the Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance or they will have to self pay.
