Medicare is a kind of medical health insurance created by the government for older persons, in addition to people with certain disabilities and diseases. When someone who has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehab will be either covered entirely by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant extent. The only catch is, the person will need to receive treatment coming from an alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to begin treatment, they may also have to visit their medical doctor who must state that rehab services are medically necessary, and the doctor will generally approve what type of treatment the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of rehabilitation providers. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program in the event that the individual must be in a hospital for problem, and also the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are identical to every other hospital stay. Part B will partially cover outpatient rehabilitation in a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance or they'll have to self pay.
