Medicare is a form of health care insurance created by the federal government for senior citizens, in addition to those that have certain disabilities and sicknesses. If someone who has Medicare needs rehab for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will be either covered completely by their Medicare health insurance or to a great degree. The only real exception is, the person must obtain treatment from your drugs and alcohol detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to start rehab, they can also get to see their medical doctor who must declare that treatment services are medically needed, and the physician will generally approve what sort of rehab the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover various kinds of rehabilitation services. Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program when the individual must be in a hospital because of their issue, along with the costs that they will have to cover personally are the same as every other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partially cover outpatient rehabilitation within a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance coverage or they will have to self pay.
