Dual diagnosis rehabs are centers which deliver rehab to handle both mental health and addiction concerns at the same time. Rehabilitation counselors will work to recognize environmental issues in the client's life such as negative relationships or any other things which have to be addressed in order for the individual to stay mentally stable and sober t after they depart dual diagnosis rehab. Dual diagnosis clients also benefit from behavioral treatment which will help them develop far better coping methods so they are better able to handle life situations better if they leave dual diagnosis rehab instead of turning to alcohol and drugs as a possible answer.
