Medicare is a form of medical health insurance created by the government for senior citizens, along with those that have certain disabilities and sicknesses. If an individual who has Medicare needs rehab for instances of substance abuse, their rehabilitation will either be covered entirely by their Medicare health insurance or to a great degree. The only real exception is, the individual must receive treatment from the alcohol and drugs detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be allowed to begin rehab, they will also have to see their primary care physician who must declare that rehabilitation services are medically needed, and the doctor will typically approve which kind of rehab the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover various kinds of rehab providers. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program when the individual should be in a hospital for their problem, and also the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are identical to any other hospital stay. Part B will partially cover outpatient rehab in a Medicare accepted program, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance or they've got to self pay.
