Offering gender-specific treatment services has shown to be very helpful in situations where standard rehab settings have not meet expectations, such as dealing with situations within a women's life that are unique and traumatic. Such difficulties may relate to sexual abuse, physical trauma, mental abuse, eating disorders, one's family members and motherhood, or another really serious issues which can be specific to women. Studies show that women may also get involved in drug use more readily than men, and so are more predisposed to sickness because of dependency issues than males consequently.
