Medicare is a form of medical health insurance designed by the U.S. government for senior citizens, along with those that have certain disabilities and illnesses. If someone that has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehab will either be covered completely by their Medicare insurance or to a significant extent. The only real exception is, the individual will have to obtain treatment coming from a drugs and alcohol detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to start treatment, they can also get to see their medical doctor who must declare that treatment services are medically essential, and the physician will usually approve which kind of rehabilitation the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of treatment solutions. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program when the individual should be in a hospital for issue, as well as the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are the same as every other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment within a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance or they will have to self pay.
