Medicare is a form of health care insurance created by the U.S. government for seniors, in addition to people who have certain disabilities and illnesses. When someone who has Medicare needs rehabilitation for cases of substance abuse, their rehabilitation will either be covered in full by their Medicare insurance or to a great extent. The one catch is, the person must obtain treatment coming from an alcohol and drugs detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to begin rehabilitation, they can also get to see their physician who must declare that rehab services are medically needed, and the physician will typically approve what type of rehab the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of rehabilitation providers. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center when the individual must be in a hospital for their issue, as well as the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are identical to every other stay in a hospital.
