Dual diagnosis rehabs are programs which deliver treatment to handle both mental health and addiction issues concurrently. Dual diagnosis clients also benefit from behavioral treatment which will help them develop more efficient coping mechanisms so they are able to better handle life situations well after they depart dual diagnosis rehab rather than turning to alcohol and drugs as an inferior option.
