Medicaid is a form of medical insurance available for individuals who are in specific income brackets which qualifies them to obtain this government provided insurance coverage. Whether or not someone is qualified for Medicaid doesn't only determined by their earnings however, and people shouldn't assume they don't qualify because they make a good income.
