Medicaid is a health insurance available for many people who are in certain income brackets which qualifies them to acquire this government funded insurance coverage. Whether someone qualifies for Medicaid doesn't only depend on income however, and individuals shouldn't assume they don't qualify simply because they earn a good income. Some states only include outpatient rehab services for example while other states cover more extensive rehab such as a residential stay in long-term drug and alcohol rehab program. If somebody is involved with drug use and desires help, they can use their Medicaid insurance coverage to get this help. If they do not have Medicaid plus don't have enough cash or any other form of health insurance to pay for treatment, they could check if they are eligible for a Medicaid and then enroll in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center which is approved in their state.
