Dual diagnosis rehabs are programs which provide treatment to deal with both mental health and addiction concerns simultaneously. Dual diagnosis is a very prevalent circumstance for individuals involved with drug and alcohol abuse, as people who have mental health issues frequently medicate themselves with alcohol and drugs to experience some type of temporary respite from their disorder. Dual diagnosis clients also benefit from behavioral rehabilitation which helps them develop far better coping methods so that they are able to better handle life circumstances more proficiently if they depart dual diagnosis rehab instead of returning to alcohol and drugs as an inferior answer.
