Medicare is a type of medical health insurance created by the federal government for older persons, and also those that have certain disabilities and diseases. When someone who has Medicare needs treatment for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will either be covered completely by their Medicare health insurance or to a great degree. The only real catch is, the person will have to receive treatment from the drugs and alcohol detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to begin rehabilitation, they may also have to see their physician who must declare that treatment services are medically needed, and the physician will generally approve what sort of rehabilitation the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover various kinds of treatment services. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center when the individual needs to be hospitalized because of their issue, along with the costs that they will have to pay for personally are identical to every other hospital stay. Part B will partly cover outpatient rehabilitation in the Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance or they will have to self pay.
