Medicare is a sort of health insurance developed by the U.S. government for older persons, as well as those that have specific disabilities and illnesses. If an individual who has Medicare needs rehab for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will be either covered entirely by their Medicare insurance or to a great degree. The one exception is, the individual will have to receive treatment from the drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to commence treatment, they will also have to visit their primary care physician who must state that rehabilitation services are medically essential, and the physician will generally approve what type of treatment the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of rehab services. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program if the individual must be in a hospital for his or her issue, and the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are the same as every other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment within a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance or they've got to self pay.
