Medicare is a sort of health insurance designed by the U.S. government for seniors, in addition to individuals with certain disabilities and sicknesses. If a person that has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will either be covered completely by their Medicare insurance or to a significant extent. The one catch is, the person will need to obtain treatment from an alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to start rehab, they may also have to see their medical doctor who must declare that treatment services are medically necessary, and the doctor will usually approve what type of rehabilitation the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of treatment providers. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center when the individual needs to be hospitalized for his or her issue, along with the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are the same as any other hospital stay. Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab inside a Medicare accepted program, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance or they will have to self pay.
