Medicaid is a type of health insurance available for many people who are in certain income brackets which qualifies them to receive this government provided insurance. Whether a person qualifies for Medicaid doesn't only depend on income however, and people shouldn't presume they don't qualify just because they make an acceptable income. Certain states only cover outpatient rehabilitation services for example while other states cover more intensive rehabilitation say for example a residential stay in long-term drug rehab program. If anyone is involved in drug use and needs help, they could use their Medicaid health coverage to acquire this treatment. If they don't have Medicaid plus don't have the cash or some other form of medical health insurance to pay for rehabilitation, they could see if they qualify for Medicaid and then sign up for a drug and alcohol treatment program which is approved within their state.
