Medicare is a form of health care insurance developed by the U.S. government for older folks, as well as individuals with certain disabilities and sicknesses. When someone who has Medicare needs rehab for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will either be covered entirely by their Medicare insurance or to a great degree. The only real exception is, the person will have to receive treatment from your alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to start rehab, they may also have to see their physician who must state that rehab services are medically needed, and the doctor will typically approve which kind of treatment the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of treatment services. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility when the individual needs to be in a hospital for problem, and the costs that they will have to pay for personally are identical to any other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partially cover outpatient treatment in a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance or they've got to self pay.
