Medicare is a form of health insurance developed by the U.S. government for senior citizens, along with individuals with specific disabilities and illnesses. When someone who has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will be either covered entirely by their Medicare insurance or to a great extent. The only real exception is, the person must obtain treatment from your drugs and alcohol detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to begin rehabilitation, they will also have to see their medical doctor who must declare that treatment services are medically necessary, and the physician will generally approve which kind of rehabilitation the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of treatment providers. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program if the individual needs to be in a hospital for problem, and the costs that they will have to pay for personally are the same as any other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partially cover outpatient treatment within a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance coverage or they've got to self pay.
