Medicare is a form of medical insurance developed by the government for senior citizens, in addition to people who have specific disabilities and diseases. If someone that has Medicare needs rehab for cases of substance abuse, their rehab will either be covered completely by their Medicare health insurance or to a great degree. The only real exception is, the person will need to receive treatment from the drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to start treatment, they may also have to visit their primary care physician who must state that treatment services are medically necessary, and the doctor will generally approve which kind of rehabilitation the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of treatment services. Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center if the individual should be hospitalized for his or her issue, and also the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are identical to every other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient rehabilitation within a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will need to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance coverage or they're going to have to self pay.
