Medicare is a type of health care insurance designed by the government for senior citizens, in addition to people who have specific disabilities and illnesses. If an individual that has Medicare needs treatment for instances of substance abuse, their treatment will be either covered entirely by their Medicare health insurance or to a great degree. Before the person will be permitted to start rehabilitation, they can also get to visit their physician who must declare that rehab services are medically necessary, and the doctor will generally approve which kind of rehab the person will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of treatment services. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center when the individual has to be in a hospital for issue, along with the costs that they will have to pay for personally are the same as every other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab within a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance or they will have to self pay.
