Medicare is a type of medical health insurance created by the federal government for seniors, along with individuals with certain disabilities and diseases. If an individual who has Medicare needs treatment for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will be either covered fully by their Medicare health insurance or to a great degree. The only exception is, the person must acquire treatment from an alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of rehab providers.
