Medicaid is a health insurance available for individuals who are in specific income brackets which qualifies them to acquire this government provided insurance. Whether someone is qualified for Medicaid doesn't only depend upon income however, and people shouldn't assume they don't qualify because they earn a fair income. For example, men and women who have a lot of dependents may be entitled to Medicaid even though they earn what might be considered a sensible income. Certain states only include outpatient rehabilitation services as an example while other states cover more intensive rehab say for example a residential stay in long-term drug rehab facility. If someone is involved in drug abuse and needs help, they can use their Medicaid insurance coverage to acquire this help. If they do not have Medicaid plus don't have the money or any other type of medical health insurance to cover rehab, they could check if they are eligible for a Medicaid and then sign up for an alcohol and drug rehab facility which is approved in their state.
