Medicare is a type of medical insurance developed by the U.S. government for older persons, in addition to those that have specific disabilities and illnesses. If an individual that has Medicare needs treatment for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will either be covered entirely by their Medicare insurance or to a great degree. The only catch is, the individual will have to acquire treatment from your drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to start rehab, they may also have to visit their medical doctor who must state that treatment services are medically necessary, and the doctor will generally approve what type of rehabilitation the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of treatment providers. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center when the individual has to be in a hospital for problem, as well as the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are the same as every other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient rehabilitation inside a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance or they will have to self pay.
