Medicare is a type of health care insurance designed by the government for older persons, along with individuals with specific disabilities and sicknesses. When someone who has Medicare needs treatment for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehab will be either covered completely by their Medicare health insurance or to a great extent. The only real exception is, the person will need to acquire treatment from your drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be allowed to start treatment, they will also have to visit their primary care physician who must declare that treatment services are medically needed, and the doctor will typically approve what type of rehab the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of treatment services. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility when the individual has to be in a hospital for problem, and the costs that they will have to cover personally are identical to every other hospital stay. Part B will partially cover outpatient treatment in a Medicare accepted program, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance or they've got to self pay.
