Medicare is a sort of medical health insurance created by the government for senior citizens, along with people who have specific disabilities and sicknesses. If a person that has Medicare needs treatment for cases of substance abuse, their treatment will be either covered in full by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant extent. The one exception is, the individual must obtain treatment coming from a drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to begin rehabilitation, they can also get to see their primary care physician who must state that rehab services are medically needed, and the doctor will generally approve what sort of rehab the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover various kinds of rehab solutions. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility if the individual should be in a hospital for problem, and the costs that they will have to pay for personally are identical to every other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment within a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will need to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance coverage or they'll have to self pay.
