Medicare is a type of health insurance developed by the federal government for older persons, along with individuals with certain disabilities and diseases. If an individual that has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will be either covered in full by their Medicare health insurance or to a great extent. The only catch is, the individual will need to obtain treatment from a drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be allowed to begin treatment, they can also get to see their medical doctor who must state that treatment services are medically necessary, and the physician will typically approve what sort of rehabilitation the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of rehabilitation solutions. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center if the individual has to be hospitalized because of their problem, and also the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are the same as any other stay in a hospital. Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab in the Medicare accepted program, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance coverage or they will have to self pay.
